Bettina Douglas is a Nurse Practitioner in the Chronic Kidney Disease Clinic at Princess Alexandra Hospital. She has been a nephrology nurse since 1984 and has worked in all areas of adult nephrology. She was the first nephrology Nurse Practitioner in Queensland.
Bettina is an adjunct Senior Lecturer for the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Queensland and assists with teaching the Nurse Practitioner program at UQ.
Bettina is also involved with a variety of groups and committees with the goal of improving outcomes for patients with kidney disease including the Australian Institute of Health & Welfare’s CKD Monitoring Advisory Committee.
