Beth Amega , Renal public health nurse , NP candidate, Danila Dilba Aboriginal medical service
Graduated from Boxhill school of nursing in Victoria. Gained experience in emergency department then journeyed to Ghana, West Africa to work for in a PHC program involved in the establishment of rural clinics , training and supporting health workers. Returned to Australia skilled in primary health care, clinical management and tropical diseases both through academic study and experience, Beth commenced working in Indigenous health in the NT. Qualifications include Masters of Nursing in nephrology and Graduate certificate in remote health practice and currently working as renal public health nurse as a Nurse Practitioner Candidate at Danila Dilba Health service in Darwin. Plans to finish her Masters degree in remote health practice (NP) in 2012.
